Linda Bennett responds to the NW Daily Marker

I am writing in response to your articles dated April 29th and April 30th, 2014, articles referring to JZ Knight. I take issue with your stance against JZ Knight and your publishing of videos and statements taken out of context. Your articles are not examples of reputable journalism.
I have been a student of the Ramtha’s School of Enlightenment (RSE) for the past nine years. I am not a citizen of Yelm nor even of Washington State but rather I live and work full-time in New York. This debunks the cult myth. I don’t live at RSE. I have attended many RSE functions and I have never been offended by any of the teachings of Ramtha. I pay tuition when I attend a seminar taught by Ramtha or JZ Knight. I pay tuition when I attend medical seminars also. I pay no more tuition at RSE than I do anywhere else. To the contrary, RSE is relatively inexpensive compared to other venues. This again debunks any myth of a cult. I keep my pay check. Ramtha does not ask me for it.
My background includes twelve years of Roman Catholic schooling and so I am well versed in what is being taught in Catholicism and what is actually practiced. Ramtha discusses both the good and the darker aspects of not only Catholicism but all organized religions. Wrongs doings cannot be improved upon if they are denied and ignored, even by those in the Church. There is nothing that Ramtha has ever said about any religion that is not the truth.
With regard to ethnic groups. They are no different than religious organizations, displaying both strengths and weaknesses in their beliefs and in their populace. Taking quotes, comments and remarks out of context from a teaching that is several hours long and then stating that Ramtha and or JZ Knight are racist, is inappropriate. There are many Mexican students enrolled at RSE and Ramtha has a large following in Mexico. This would not be possible if he were denigrating the Mexican people.
How about publishing some of these quotes, which are also taken from videos taped at Ramtha’s School of Enlightenment, or are you only interested in broadcasting your viewpoint and nothing to the contrary?
Ramtha, on helping another human being, March 9, 2008
‘So, if it’s an individual who has the ways and means to help another person, even if your judgement blinds you, and you do it. You’re who we want…How about the entity who just sees through, beyond their judgement, their petty humanity, and sees the way in which they could help another human being, even at their own risk. That is who we are interested in because that means that there is a spiritual judgement that transcends the immediate human incarnation interest…What we are after, we are after those whose spiritual vision overrides their human interest. God is a giver, not a taker.’
Ramtha, May 28, 2009
‘What was so secret that it dare not be spoken? What was the secret knowledge of the greatest schools of ancient wisdom that ever existed and that exist today? What was the tenet that always were pursued by these doctrines, to abolish and destroy? What was it that threatened the very foundations of control and fear itself? —- (It) Was what you have learned since yesterday [sic], that God is in you. Yeshua ben Joseph taught..that the Father that is in me is the Father that is in you. What I have done, you can do even greater.’
Ramtha, March 9, 2008
‘Who are the most righteous? Those who respect the free will of other beings.’
