U-V Blue technology making inroads
“People exposed to blue light performed better on tests of brain function
that included a distraction than those who had caffeine”
– “Could blue lights replace a daily cup of coffee?
Scientists claim they could be more effective at keeping you alert than caffeine”
“Blue light is harmless to tissue but can trigger biological effects in the body
In a study, people exposed to blue light performed better at distraction tests
The same test, proved too much for caffeine users who performed poorly
It builds on research that has found blue light can improve cognitive abilities”
“Researchers at Mid Sweden University compared the effects of caffeine and blue light on the brain and found them both to have a positive effect.
Interestingly, people exposed to blue light performed better on tests of brain function that included a distraction,” quoting Ellie Zolfagharifard in UK’s Daily Mail.

“Can Blue-Colored Light Prevent Suicide?”
“An intriguing, anecdotal finding was recently reported by some news outlets that the implementation of blue-colored streetlights has reduced both crime and suicides [Japan, Scotland]:

“Scientists from Rice, Nankai and Tianjin universities have found signs of drug-resistant bacteria in treated wastewater plants in northern China. Their study suggested the dangerous bacteria were not only escaping purification but also breeding in the treatment plants.”
“This calls for us to take a look at these breeding grounds for antibiotic-resistant bacteria and how we might be able to create better barriers than chlorination,’ he said. ‘I think we need to take a serious look at photo-disinfection processes, like ultraviolet disinfection. It has been shown to be more effective on resistant organisms. We also need a better understanding of how these microbes flow through the environment,'” quoting Mike Williams of Rice University.

“[Blue] Light-activated neurons from stem cells restore function to paralysed muscles”
“A new way to artificially control muscles using light, with the potential to restore function to muscles paralysed by conditions such as motor neuron disease and spinal cord injury, has been developed by scientists at UCL and King’s College London,” quoting the April 4, 2014 news release.

“Light — not pain-killing drugs — used to activate brain’s opioid receptors”
“Neuroscientists have attached the light-sensing protein rhodopsin to opioid receptor parts to activate the receptor pathways using light from a laser fiber-optic device. They also influenced the behavior of mice using light, rather than drugs, to activate the reward response. When an opioid receptor is exposed to a pain-killing drug, it initiates activity in specific chemical pathways in the brain and spinal cord. And when the researchers shone light on the receptors that contained rhodopsin, the same cellular pathways were activated. Neurons in that part of the brain release chemicals such as dopamine that create feelings of euphoria,” quoting Washington University in St. Louis, ScienceDaily.

“Researchers Have Shed New Light on the Workings of Amnesia” using blue light pulses
“The findings which were published on May 28, in the U.S. journal named Science, indicate that the researchers found hints that past memories do exist in the brain of the mice which is affected by amnesia. However, they are simply too weak to be recalled. They further demonstrated that old memories can be reactivated using blue light pulses on the hidden cellular pathways, thereby helping in strengthening them a great deal,” quoting Ankur Sinha, Guardianlv.com.

Ramtha on ultraviolet blue technology from March, 2008
“Amazing work with ultraviolet blue technology is on the horizon in your culture and around the world. It is becoming the answer to killing viruses, germs, and healing diseases. As technology grows from a Blue Body® into the scientific world of health and medicine, just remember where you learned it.”
