“Linda Evans of Dynasty and Linda Gray of Dallas (pictured) joined Congresswomen Rosa L. DeLauro (D-CT) and Jo Ann Emerson (R-MO) as honorary co-chairs of the newly formed National Alliance of Women Against Senior Hunger (NAWASH). The Alliance was formed by the Meals On Wheels Research Foundation in support of MOWAA’s vision to end senior hunger by 2020. The four honorary co-chairs joined Enid Borden, MOWAA President and CEO, at MOWAA’s second annual “Meals for Moms” Capitol Hill event. The affair celebrated the outstanding work of local Meals On Wheels programs, while also shedding light on the 8.3 million seniors facing the threat of hunger—60% of whom are women.”
