Found My Biological Mother through Focus

October 2009

In the early ‘90s I heard Ram say how much we are influenced by our genetics, so I put “mother” on a card for Fieldwork® and saw her face in my frontal lobe after two hours on the field! About a year later we met. It is normally legally challenging for an adoptee to get the name of a birth parent in Illinois, but for me it was divinely easy.

I remember hearing Ram say that a woman is always psychic with the babies she’s had — and, boy, do I know that for real! It has been a fantastic time getting to know this wonderful woman and the many revelations I’ve had from this nature/nurture experiment in my life. I actually had to find two couples on the Plane of Bliss that were matching me in all the ways I needed to learn in this life, so I am doubly blessed!

 Susan Louis

Susan’s birth mother took the train from Illinois to visit her daughter in Yelm this September and was thrilled to have a tour of the campus, where Susan’s focus began. Lynn commented that the Great Hall was exactly as she imagined and felt a deep reverence upon entering.
